FF8 problem (configuration?)
hi there .. i know there are lots of threads with FF8 probs but none of them helps me i installed ePSXe 1.60 and configured it like the describtion says. Then i wanted to play FF8, i got the original german version, but nothing happens. the screen gets blank and thats it. after that ive tried some configurations mentioned in this forum with the same result, for example trying to start the game thru an iso file created with clonecd. The BIOS (scph7502) starts normal. Hope some of you guys can help me btw .. my system: Athlon XP 1700+ N-force 1 chipset (gf2mx onboard) 512MB DDR RAM (incl 32MB shared) Samsung CD-R/RW SW-232B Win XP Pro v5.1 ![]() thnx |

Re: FF8 problem (configuration?)
Nah, it's the same thing either way. I actually like CloneCD better but it is only a trial. I thought you were using a CD because of what Kane said.
