Need help connecting to IRC from behind a firewall
The standard client-port 1080 doesn't work from my work-pc. So which other (alternative) ports could I use? irchelp.org and similar sites didn't help.

Re: Need help connecting to IRC from behind a firewall
isn't IRC usually at port 6667, or 6660-7000? or is this some kind of network-****?

SnakeBite: Those are the server ports. The client side of a connection uses a different range of ports.
