Harvestmoon back to nature

I have the problem with harvestmoon where the game freezes in the intro. I have seen many posts about this but none of them give an answer to it. Any suggestions would be a big help, thanks!

Are you running from a CD or from an ISO?
CD plugins?, program u used to make the ISO, Graphic plugin? It's specs?
Plz.... we are not mages, we need some info

PS It's a wild guess but if you think everything is configured correctly try another emulator PS7. It might help

I had the same problem, where the thing goes to sleep, and then the game gets stuck with weird noises. With ePSXe 1.6, I pressed either F8 or F7, which allowed the game to progress.
