Filipino Questions (filipinos only)
Hey, i just moved in to manila. Im at J. Ruiz Street, San Juan. Where could i find a Lan Shop near us? and where can i find a lan shop(Metro Manila) that has many Warcraft Players(Everyone plays Command & Conquer and Ragnarok Online here so i am having problem looking for Warcraft Players =( ) |

did you tried netopia?their branches are really outspread over manila, but if you really want to make sure...walk around town

well, you can rarely see nethopia with war3 players on them nor cs players. ragnarok online is the only game(most) they play there. I found a good lan shop near shang ri-la but only few plays war3  could someone help me out?

Hmm... Try Netopia, Then play battle.net.. There are many (die-hard WC3) Filipinos there. CS and Warcraft is dying, Online games are taking over(Even if i dont like it, I hate online games.......)... The sharp fall came after CS1.4, WC3:frozen Throne has made it(WC3) survive a bit. Also try: Stratego, If you study at UST then try playing at Warpath, Netopia, etc(the place is littered with this)...

wow its been So long since iv been to manila. thats where my parents are from. how is it down their? last time i was their it was frequent blackouts at certin times to save power. but that was like 6 or 7 years ago

blackouts, those happened quite often around that time, but they rarely occur nowadays

The framerate is fast at netopia, They also have DSL for i-net(256Kbps PLDT line).... (all of their computers are sure to be AXP1700+) So you'll not lag that often.. And the blackouts? They're gone, Thanks to FVR and his IPPs.....

what was the cause of the black outs in the first place? (i was 14 i believe the last time i was their)

before? jellyfish well cybervaldez, netopia is the best lan shop that is known... unless that there is a local shop around you that offers fast internet connection and fast PC... pero alam ko, hindi pa rin pwede mag battlenet sa netopia... tama ba ako?

yup! Jaz asked them and they said they dont have it and Warcraft is being uninstalled to MOST netophia shops. wonder why? Hehehe. stupid jellyfishes. They almost conquered Manila. jaz kidding!

well one reason is that PC games popularity are declining because of the online game Ragnarok... on Warcraft... di gagana yung expansion kase pirated yung WC3 software nila...
