Can somebody please help again?

I have all the plugins i need now and i put in a regular ps1 game( Nascar Racing 98) just to see if it works, then the screen just goes black and nothing happens....the emulator reads the BIOS and all the plugins...whats wrong? Thanks !

Post your pc specs and your plugin configuration.

make sure you have your drive configured

1) Select your cd drive in the cd plugin configuration

2) Select Run CD-Rom (not rom Bios)

normally it should work

Go into the graphics plugin config window and hit the button that says "copy settings to clipboard" and paste that info into a new post. You could also try using Xeven's cdr plugin since it autoconfigures everything.

Set offscreen drawing to 2 and framebuffer texture to 1. Try using the "use old texture filtering" to see if it helps. Enable fps limit and set it to either "auto" mode if you don't want to mess with it or to 60 for NTSC games or 50 for PAL games. If nothing else works, try using peops soft plugin. It has higher compatibility but everything runs off of the processor so it could slow down a little in certain areas. If you need me to clarify anything, let me know and I will take some pics or something.

According to this site, your card is a directx 6 card. Use pete's dx6 d3d plugin and if you are having slowdown problems (when the game gets running) then turn off filtering. Have you tried xeven's cdr plugin?

*turn this on for better color

Just to let you know that card does NOT have 512 mb vram. No card that I know of has that much. I think that card has 8 mb (16 or 32 at the most).

just additional info, the biggest one I know is from 3DLabs with 416MB. Perhaps what he want to say is Matrox Parhelia 512 [512 Bit], unlikely GF with 256 Bit [oh, some only have 128 and 64 Bit
