Unhappy help with the wheel! (pc steering wheel)

right, well, I have a steering wheel, and because my desk has this uh, 'particular design', I cannot install the thing normally without it falling off the desk. as you can see, the "make sure it doesnt fall off thing" (my english sucks when I have to use these specific words) floats in 'space', under the desk, because of that egde under the desk that's kinda in the way. Does anyone know a good (preferrably proven succesful) solution without me having to modify the desk (I like it how it is, kthx) ?

Re: help with the wheel! (pc steering wheel)

Hmmm...that base hold of the table is the problem. Its seems to be too big.
The wheel will keep on falling until that lower Frame's end gets to touch the table. Take a precise size of the space there, then cut a piece of wood and place it there. Screw the wheel's lower frame well.
Other wise take some old paper box, cut small squares, join them together, place those in that space. DOn;t forget to tape those together.

Either that or depending on the size of the gap stick a old hardback book you don't use between the desk and the clamp.

A brick or a stack of cd cases should temporarily work too

nah, that would slide off...

btw I drew it kinda wrong. but fixed it now, just different...
as the pics show, the clamp was much smaller than I first drew... and the solution works; it didnt fall off, not even after an extensive Colin Mcrea 3 session (man, does the demo suck in comparison with the (excellent) full version!)

Also, I'm happy to finally be able to use that wheel again ^_^
