soft mod

ok you guys have helped me lots in the past. I'm askin for that help once again. I just got a new radeon 9500 NP from newegg. People tell me that it can be soft modded to a 9700. If that is so it would be way cool. Thing is I have no idea how. I have searched the forums, and searched google for the past oh hour or so. No luck. So any help will be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: BTW it is a sapphire.

Re: soft mod

Re: soft mod

yes. first off you HAVE to have the L-shaped memory arrangement to mod it into a 9700. if you dont, you can STILL mod it into a 9500pro.

The Guide To Soft-Modding - by me all the help you'll need.

I thought all the "modable" ones were recalled after it was widelly known that this could be done?
Surelly if Valcrist has only just bought it recently then hes out of luck.
