cool SFA3 winamp skins by me

these are my fav winamp skins that i made. rather easy to make, but hey rate them. one is of ken and one is of ryu

o yeh, extract them first.

I believe u use skinning programs from Nullsoft

they are made for WInamp2, but winamp can use them too

so how do i install these. all im seein are abuncha bitmap files (sorry) yeah i know stupid question, but im too used to winamp doin automaticaly im usin 2.92

unzip them and put them in the skins folder and in winamp go to skins and choose the new ones

OH ****. i just reailized what i was doing wrong, heh. i opend up the skin file and extracted everything instead of just the whole .wsz files. thats why i keept seein bitmap files

Here s my latest Winamp2 skin ( light Ambitions)

Anyways, as for your skins, they arent that bad, but they are a bit plain. I dont see any design there, ( the pic is blury in Ken-amp). The winshade windows dont match each other. The avs and media library arent skinned and the playlist buttons seem to be out of the place.

Overall, Id give them 5/10 and 5.5/10 respectfully, althought I did like the ryu-amp layout. Nice try

PS: dont get discouraged. I did even worse than that on my first trial

There are some skins which can be produced by a program called "Skinmaker" ( go look it on the web) within 5 mins. Personally, I use PaintShop Pro 7.04 and notepad for skinning. I recommend the "hard" way if you want to do something worthwhile

well htere's a program called skinner out there... but it only give you a small portion to work with, the background...
