Great max Payne Mod
If someone ever made a thread about this please delete this if you want... Well...after the dissappointment (for most) of Enter the Matrix...some us video gamers just feel left in the dust...well feel left no longer...max payne has some amd mods to fulfill your ass kciking bullet time cravings... First there's kung Foo...which i have no screens of but its incorperated into this next mod... Matrix Reality is the one im talking about...merged with kung fu 3.0 it is a superb conversion for max payne...you will be neo...with max's voice...playing through max's storyline...but with some nice moves and LOTS OF WEAPONS....as you fight with your kung fu you gain more skill and once you reach enough you gain some shnazzi matrix abilits...at level 1....you get to jump off walls...level 2...run on walls...ect. and it replaces your baseball bat with a staff...nice? i think so...there are like 30 weapons that come with this mod including katana's, flamethrowers, and your staff of course...This mod is ungodly...and i even heard it from x-play on techtv while they were reviewing enter the amtrix (which got a bad review coinsadentally)...you can even go into the construct and get guns....lots of guns....to take on your missions...though your supposed to download the lobby level, and the chateu from reloaded that are 40MB total and then the kung fu mod, and the matrix mod...(all 4 files like 80MB) it is well worth it...its kinda sad when a mod based on the movie is better than the game based on the movie...and i leave you with a few screens because i was bored... Old news to me, but at the time he didn't have a release to d/l. But seems very cool, saw some mpegs of it in action. Seems like he added lots of new goodies since then.

whops...edited post...dont need the levels it comes iwth it  EDIT: Whops...edited my edit because it does need em...it says it comes with em...but then i saw they were a requirement ...i was wandering because i downloaded it all...

LOL! sucks when u correct what doesn't need correcting but you thought did  I might try this out soon, since I still have MP installed. Hope its as fun as it looks, and seems to do matrix more justice then that crap of a game "enter the matrix"... |

indeed it does...it even adds a shnazzy wavey effect behind bullets and adds a new sniper rifle effect...sometimes you accidentally hit the bullet time button instead of kicking because thats the button for it because they were trying to make it punch - left click...kick - right click... and on one move when he dives he lands backwards and automatically pulls a 180 turn but it doesn't effect gameplay...because its just the animation...other than that i ahve found no problems...just make sure you ahve the latest Max Payne Patch

The bullet-time, does it last longer or same time limit as in MP, which doesn't last too long.

you get unlimited in matrix mode...in just kung-fu you ahve a limit...and yall remember doom? this is another mod im waiting for...this is just the alpha version...only one map so far and he's working on classic weapons also...its an actual 3rd person reincarnate of the first levlel of doom...like inch for inch...except in 3d ...not spriteshttp://www.maxpayneheadquarters.com/...hp?file_id=343 and may i say that the screens from max payne 2 (on main page of www.maxpayneheadquarters.com looks great...but it doesn't look like max payne at all!!!

yea...and then the real world is coming out...its like the whole movie the matrix...in a game...so you dont have to play through max paynes storyline as neo...you can play through the amtrixees storyline as neo ...and from the shots it looks like its going through reloaded too...i just installed max payne again today and went mod-hunting...some great stuff out there...and being a member at www.moddb.com helps...they update me on all my mods

Oh yes...one more thing...if your downlaoding all of those...get kung du 3.0 first and play it while you get the others and get the hang of it...because its like half of the matrix thing

hey, i just finished playing through max payne. too bad i've already deleted it though. might have been more fun with the matrix conversion deal. too lazy to reinstall, ofcourse. and there's the bandwidth limit issue. :frown:

i couldn't live with limited bandwith...enless your sayin you ahve 56k...that i could live with...but wouldn't enjoy...and if its 56k the kung fu mod is still great by itself

its just max payne with moves...theres a mod coming out called the real world thats taking the whole matrix movie and making it into a game...but this mod makes you feel like your playin a whole other game..
