Controller Configuring
Alright, I just restarted my computer. Rather, I restarted it earlier today and have had problems with the controller configuring ever since. When I restarted the computer, I had to resinstall the adaptor (after a few times, it was successful). However, after this I tried to play Soul Blade in ePSXe. None of my buttons work. I switched games, recieving the same problem with Megaman X6, Inu-Yasha, and Chrono-Trigger. I went into my controller settings, and they all were at default. When I tried to configure them, however, they repeatedly changed to "J2_Right" after I had let go of the button that I wanted them to be. I tried many things, including restarting my computer, unplugging and replugging in the controller and adaptor, reinstalling the adaptor, and restarting ePSXe. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. I USE: Power Shock V EMS 2 Adaptor Radeon 9700 Pro Philips Sonic Edge 5.1 Athlon XP 2100+ K7S5A |

UPDATE: I have already tried the program on the top of the forum. It leads to the same problem, although lists it as "J2_Axis-D". Please help me. |

Re: Controller Configuring
You tried re-calibrating the controller?

I had this exact problem and just solved it about 5 seconds ago. What I did first was change my controller type from Digital/Analog to just Digital. That gave me the idea of just toggling between Digital and Analog by hitting F5. So in short, try pushing F5 while the emulation is running. If that doesnt work just try making your controller Digital only. |

Help!!
Im having the exact same problem with the exact same psx>pc adaptor. Even when its on the default digital only, it still does automatic J2_RIGHT assigning to any and all buttons, as soon as i select the button i want to edit. I dont understand whats wrong with it. it works fine, its not broken. Can anyone help?

i had the same problem with my axis pad and figured out that if you exit out of the program, unplug the controller and plug it back in it works.
