Grand theft auto: vice city VS the Getaway

is gta vice city best or the getaway????.in my opinion i go for gta vice city cause i can steal nice cars and of course motorbikes and lots more.well in other case the getaway isn't that fun than playing gta vice city.

Vice city...the getaway was a bit too slow for me...though it still was a great game...i just prefer vice city...and in the getaway i could never get used to driing on the wrong side of the road..

never played mafia
never played getaway
played gta3 - it was fun for one night
played gtavc - same thing

but I'm weird; I liked Super Runabout. Maybe because of its stupidity. (wreck fighter jets by driving into them with a car?!)

GTA is all the rage when you start playing. Then it starts falling and falling and, well, it doesn't recover and ends up being dull... As for The Getaway, I haven't played it.

thats exactly the point; at first it's a blast driving around and trying out all kinds of things; then you start to do a few missions and it's basically all 'I've seen this before' then....so once you're done driving around mindlessly and doing a few missions, there's not much left coming back for, IMO.

The GTA part is nicely summed up by Samor.

AFA as The Getaway is concerned, I don't think it is all that fair to compare these two. Two different things....

The Getaway and Mafia are more comparabel and in this case Mafia is better IMO.

Te Getaway sometimes gets.........weird.......and....the use the F word too much Oo

I would take Gta over getaway in a sec.
Gta has that something that getaway lacks that make me wanna play it.
Donn't know what it is yet!

Ok What nationality is Tony.
GTA is mostly preffered over Getaway due to its speed,we want it too FAst and too Furious.
BTW:This was my 310th post which i wanted to make so i apologize if what i have written is a bunch of CRAP.

i was wondering how much different is the pc version of vice city than the ps2 version and if you can get the pc version to run at 60 fps

o ya is the loading any better, cuz when i play it on my ps2 the laser moves so much it sounds like a cricket

and i don't want the laser to wear out before i finish the game

i neve rhad any problems with GTA Vice City on PC..loads fine...runs realy fast on mine (except when things are exploding...one is ok...big explosions are a nono)...never palyed PS2 verison though

I'm not sure your PC meets the requirments to run GTA:VC, but on my PC it loads much faster than PS2

GTA Vice city is actually faster then GTA 3 on my pc.
And Adair is right, loading times is faster. And the game also runs faster than ps2 version.

But I pick mafia rather than vice or getaway.
That game is already a classic in my book.
