On AGP Voltage

I've been wondering about this for a while and I've posted this question on another board too with no decent reply.

What exactly is agp voltage and what does raising it serve to do?

Is it true that raising the agp voltage raises the northbridge chip voltage also? If so, will that increase overclockability?

yes, rasing the voltage would make it more overclockable (just like cpus)... but be warned. stock fans would not be able to handle the heat it will dissapate.

heheh....I replaced the stupid stock cooler that came with my 8sq800...d@mn thing felt like it was made out of plastic or somethin. Burnt my finger too. Upgraded to a Vantec Iceberg copper cooler, now it runs great!
