No, hes partitioned them. By drives he meant removable media I think.

well first of all, i had a 10 gig hard drive, but that wasnt enough so i added another 60 gig hard drive into my pc so altogether is 70 gigs. the benefit of having multiple partitions is just to sort out ur stuff. as u can see, some says media, , other says program on my comp, so its just a way for me to organise my things in my comp. i have one partition thats just for the windows os so when i have to format my comp, my songs n stuff will be in my other partitions taht doesnt have the os in it

thats clever...i may bust out my partition manager and organize my crap...the only thing is...the only way to get it back to my main 2 drives is to format isn't it?

wait, r u trying to say that if u split it, u'll have to format ur comp to get it back to its original partition? if thats wat ure saying, then thats not the case. once u split it, it remains split n if u want to merge them together again, just merge them again. formatting it doesnt get it back to ur main 2 drives.
