Parasite Eve movie available in the U.S. ???

Well i dont know much about the movie version, i just saw the title on showtime. so since i dont HAVE showtime i cant watch the damn thing, does anyone know if this movie was released in the U.S. Somewhere? cant find it in stores..wouldnt really BUY it, would just rent it. but still its hard to find.

iv seen the japanese one that was based on the book not the game. i hafta say it was the worst crap i have ever seen.

a movie based from one of the square games? not really interested cause "Final Fantasy the movie" sucks hard, the game storyline 10 times better than the movie series.

It's not based from the game. It's based from a book of the same name. The game is loosely based off the book.

No, most Chinese stores import stuff from all over Asia, not just China.

Raiden, you might wanna try looking in anime stores for the movie. I know that Parasite Eve isn't an anime movie but anime stores sometimes carry Japanese things other than animes and mangas.

Yeah, while we all heard how bad the movie is, there's always the book, which I heard is pretty good (pre parasite eve events- the attack in Japan). It all depends on how big ur imagination is.

the the smb movie was meant to be funny. PE was supposed to be serious yet the (special) effects made it unintentionally comical. the ending was also nonsensical and overly melodramatic

Heh, that doesn't happen much these days....that a game beats the other forms of entertainment when there is comparable material. I guess only a few liscensed games ever are good enough (e.g. most of the starwars games)
