Sup,
I keep havein the same problem with windows 2000 professional and my refresh rates, no matter what i set the refresh rate 2 in windows it'll keep droping back down to 60Hz when i start a game (any game) and this really sucks seeing how my monitor supports 100Hz@1024x768,120Hz@800x600.

I've installed the latest drivers for my monitor and my vid card but still nothing.....

any1 know how to fix this?

:wtf:

Re: Windows 2k Refresh Rates........

What's your video card. In my case since I updated my detonator drivers to 1200 every time I run a game and exit the monitor gives me black bars down the sides, a minor annoyance but a restart solves this. Anyways my old drivers were didn't have this problem. Maybe this the same bug you have? If so try some earilier ones.

Hope this helps

Re: Windows 2k Refresh Rates........

Use the "optimal" setting, not the "standard" or the custom settings
