Controller configs reseting

Everytime I start ePSXe up I have to reconfigure my controller why won't it keep my settings?! I set it all up play my game close it and then the next time I start it up I have to do it all over again.

Also how do I get the rumble functions to work with my games?

Strange. I hear first time about it - seems like some problems with registry...

I'm using an Xbox controller Ive deleted the registry entrys for epsxe, and epsxecuter and still nothing.
