Talking Silent Hill 3 pc released in october?!

" German game site, GBASE, is reporting that Konami is looking to release a PC version of Silent Hill 3 in October. The port will be made by the members of the original team (that worked on the PS2 version), and will supposedly feature an improved graphics engine (higher-res textures, improved particle effects and such). "

yay donīt know if this site can be trusted but this is great news!!! i love the series and i hope they do a good job with this one

http://tinyurl.com/am94 here are the pics and the german news, translated with babelfish

Very good news.

If only they'd remake the original for the PC, with SH2/3 quality graphics.

Great news caipirinha, I'll be looking forward for this game.
I hope the plot be better than the SH2 one, because the only thing that made me keep going through the game was the scary/creepy factor of SH2.

SH2's story was amazing... it's the thing that gave me the creeps about the game (well, apart from the obvious).

huh, opinions are opinions, maybe because I'm a RE fan I find the RE plot more interesting than the SH one. In terms of scariness SH eats RE by much, it's a different kind of scary management which makes the game better.
Why you guys liked the story so much?, it's kind of simple and boring

Well it's like caipirinha says... it's not as simple as it seems; the characters are so deeply developed, each person with his own little disturbing story... just great.

mhh, well it just doesn't seem too deep to me.
The game did worth the play, specially at nights with a high volume coming from a stereo system :nod2:, but for me the story was weak.
Let's then wait for the next SH3 when it comes out surely it will be a very good gaming experience.

I got the endings in which Cybil doesn't make it, and where Cybil makes it. I wouldn't like to play SH1 again those graphics, it was a long time ago when I played SH1
And the SH1 plot is way much better than SH2 IMO.

RE's plot is more action based than SH, i guess playing as a soldier gives more appeal than playing as a ordinary man/woman.

itīs just a matter of taste, i prefer the ordinary man with troubled mind, and the game with slow strange plot
