Pcsx
I installed Gentoo Linux a few days ago and I loving it. And what surprised me the most is that they have packages in their server for Pcsx and some plugins. I am compiling everything with my cflags so it will be really fast.

Because Gentoo "packages" are scripts and you can compile them and their dependencies using optimizations to make it more fast.

That's why they call it a "Linux distro" ![]() The good thing with gentoo is that you can/must compile all stuff for your machine, so it will be optimized for your processor; other distros are compiled for 486 or Pentium, so they do not take full advantage of the capabilities of a, say, P3, P4, or Athlon.

Of course you can try a full recompile of, say, Redhat, although there are some programs in Redhat that come without source (like Acrobat Reader). But this is a lot of work, because there is no program in Redhat that helps you through the process of recompiling. In gentoo, it's different; installing means compiling, through the portage system; although there are some binary packages too.
