Inu Yasha

Well, I picked up the Inu Yasha game today and luckily I have my PS2, because it doesn't seem to work on ePSXe, haven't tested it yest while turning the sound off completely, but it crashes, or just freeezes, with every graphics plugin Ive tried when there is a ton of speach, which is in every game mode except practice.

Just tried it as an ISO, no go with Eternal SPU, even with the fixes enabled.

The game works until you try anything other than pactice mode.

I made the game an ISO and everything works fine: options, the FMV of the beginning, and choosing a character, but when Im supposed to begin to fight, the screen seems to freeze or something, and stays in the screen where i chose my character, while there are sounds like the fight has already begun, but I cant see anything. Also, when I play versus with the COM, the fight begins, but the only thing the fighters(me and com) can do is mvove around and jump, but none of us can fight or throw a kick or punch. What can I do? Is ther any way to solve this problem? The emulator worked fine with every other game I played. Please help me!

ps7 0.15 and higher will play this game fine, there is a strange bandai copy protection that's screwing up the works for this game (both US and Japanese versions use the same protection)

ps7 uses most of the same plugins anyway, does seem slower with IY in comparison with ePSXe though.

Mmm, but it's a problem with the emu core, not the plugins. PSXeven is slower indeed, I get 200FPS as opposed to 400 in ePSXe, but what do you expect for such a (relatively) new emu, worked on predominantly by a single man?

sprites

does anyone know of anyone who is making sprite sheets for this game? or how I can use the emu to take the sprites.

I've yet to use the emu and install it. I don't know my video card and such.

There isn't a way to dump sprites like you want as far as I know.
