It's normal, but

Resolution/Color:
- 800x600 Fullscreen - NO desktop changing [32 Bit]

can be changed in 16 bits...

Your PC isn't fast enough to play all games correctly, if it's a light slowdown, the prob is most likely your hardware, but if the FPS drops to low... then try after a reboot, sometimes windows sux at restoring the unused RAM... and Win ME is one of the worst windows ever

my opinion is you pc cant cut it......the only thing i could think that would give you a little more speed and its to set the filtering to 0
thats it....

Well, the game runs just fine on my PC (specs in my sig), some others are sometimes too slow, so, if you have some money, go buy a new motherboard+CPU (at least 1ghz, it's enough for epsxe)

In my opinion, you should buy a better graphics card. Mobo + processor could *strongly* help as well. The minimun requirements are always the minimun to see something moving, never to see everything running smooth at perfect speed. And Windows Me is worse than a virus, i would use win98 on a PC like yours. And, if you upgrade, WinXP optimizes better system resources.

Don't you ppl think that leaving the "Advanced Blending" on is slowing it down?

Advanced Blending makes slowdowns?

It's weird, I never seen the changes....
TNT2 is OK to play most PSX games, better do what I said first, then, check for a new video card

and thats all I can think of now ^^

U should try using Eternal SPU 1.30 lite or P.E.Op.S. SPU (thread mode) and CDR (Async)
and Pete's DX6D3D 1.70 will work better whit ur card

also playing whit ePSXe in "High Priority" helps a lot
