F-Zero X w/ PJ64 1.5

Okay. You know in the PJ64 Game FAQs, where it says if cars are black, that means one's computer doesn't meet the system requirements?

Now, I find that utter B.S. I meet all requirements (and beyond), and even fit all the TextureOpCaps that Jabo's plugin uses. And I still get friggin black textures. I've got the latest drivers I can find for my laptop, so I don't know what the hell to do; any ideas?

EDIT: Damn, bad context. Shouldn't have said GameFAQs.

There are several other plugins you could try. Decaluses plugin is promising, also Tr64 should work good

He posted the same question at the PJ64 forums, and it got answered there pretty quickly, I think he'll be okay.
