Do you run this game on a CD? try using an ISO and see if the glitch is still there.

I change all settings to default settings and I get even worse glitches. I think it's obviously a bug.

At the start of the game, the screen is sometimes black then sometimes normal, then when I get into the games, everything's normal til battle - glitches everywhere.
I also test with save states, same result.

This happens when frame skipping is on. Turn it off and it'll be alright.

Yeah, the frameskipping cause the swirls to mess up and it affects the battle screen as well. And why Odd/Even bit hack?

Thx. I got it fixed. And I'm not sure what the Odd/Even Hack is. I just read the description "For ePSXe 1.5.2" so I checked that box. I hope PEOPS Team will implement the frame skipping features, I want to gain exp fast in the game.

Yeah, I think Odd/Even bit hack is only for Chrono Cross... So you don't need that. If you do want to speed things up you should just do the frameskipping and then ignore the glitches... And then stop the frameskipping when you're done leveling up. It's not like you need to enjoy the graphics when you're running around training anyway.
