Is there any news of this ROM coming out for emulation anytime soon? For CPS2? MAME?

...well, actually this is a CPS3 game, and currently CPS3 emulation is not feasible.

Besides, I don't even think its a rom. I think its a "disk image" or something...

Actually, some cps3 roms are out around the web, but are used by emu authors to help in development.. The roms are huge though since they are actually disk images.. Just wait for Icuras and play the dreamcast port..

heh heh ...I never thought of that...

...using Icarus would be a very nice alternative indeed... :grin: (DC uses the same hardware as the arcade, right ?)

No.. The dreamcast arcade counterpart is the naomi board.. CPs3 was a proprietary Capcom hardware..

What is this Icuras you guys are talking about?
Are there any teams/developers working on CPS2 emulation currently?

Icarus is a Dreamcast emulator currently in development.. It's showing good signs of playing DC games in the future release..

CPS2 emulation has been done and can be played with several arcade emus:

mame
kawaks
FB
nebula

All these emus can play almost all cps2 games.. you can also play cps2 games online via Kaillera.. Check my sig for the link to kaillera..

I think some of the mame developers are working on CPS3 emulation, but it's gonna be a while before we see anything.. But once mame does cps3, other arcade emus will probably follow suit..
