Nvidias 43.45 On nvidias Website

Yup, And they have doubled Pixel Shader performance in Pixel Shader tests 2.0 tests,

Higher 3dmark2003 scores, Rendering everything properly.

And So soon after DX 9.0a hmmm

It would seem that Nvidia is getting their way and there Dual 16 Bit floating point Pixel Shaders will see light.

They are not certified yet but they are candidates.

people on IRC say that there is no or less speed increase with new drivers. It's probably true, since all these new drivers have extra quality feacture more than performance optimizations

Ahhh finally another Nvidia release and with two flavors, the always wanted english only drivers version (at least for me). Now my concern is, why had passed almost 5 months without a WHQL certified Nvidia's drivers.
Chaos & G-Pitts, we all here do reliable tests.
I'll give them a try and do some tests. Let's wait for yeloanzdevil(he's good testing) and everyone else's tests as well

Here's some Benches with different det drivers along with 43.45
3DMark 2001
41.09 : 10581
43.00 : 10468
43.45 : 10416

I love the smaller size then the other drivers 9MB instead of near 20MB, damn multi language support.

I noticed with these drivers the FPS is a little slower but the graphics are sharper and graphics quality is superb and everything seems much more smoother more smoother than 43.00 and 41.09
In PSX and N64 games not much changed, but when using FSAA at 8XS (D3D) and OpenGL (4X 9 Tap) not much of a performace hit and the problems with the FF9 battle swirls showing screwed up colors are now gone with the new drivers, is a plus in my book. These drivers a great, but I wish there was more speed gain in drivers and they also support DX9.0

Edit: I will post 3DMark 2K3 scores later

After some testing with emulation, with Pete's OpenGL plugin I got more fps, better quality image as better, clearly and vivid colors. The Pete's D3D tests I did, didn't make much difference, just slightly better image quality.
This drivers made me finally install DX9.0a and so far haven't had any troubles with it.

I tested some of my PC games with these new drivers with 4xS AA and 4x AF with decent fps. Also the image quality is awesome.

I'll do more tests later.

These drivers are faster than any other 42.xx or the 43.00/43.03/43.30.
I recommend you to give these a try

Phoenix, great report. I leave the Nvidia beta driver testing in capable hands. ChaosBlade, you can trust Phoenix's and Chris Ray's reports as well as you would mine. From what I have heard, I'm sure that my TI 4600 would perform excellently w/these. Unfortunately for my TI, my 9700 pro is now king. Still, I am glad to see that Nvidia is finally going after quality improvements. Their cards are excellent (yes, I still like and respect Nvidia) so their drivers should be as good as possible to show off the capabilites of the cards. Enjoy them, all, and maybe post some screens w/the new drivers.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

Sxamiga , i thought you traded that Ti for the .. 'dark side'

If image quality is the deal with these , i think ill pass em . no need to drop my low enough FPS .

I found that FPS dropped by 5% in morrowind. There are issues w/ IQ in GTA 3, but the frame rates are more consistent and don't result in frame rate stutters. I think I'll stick to these for now.

ChaosBlade, if you consider ATI the "Dark Side" then yes I did. I quit using my TI 4600 and got an ATI Radeon 9700 pro instead. I was (read was) holding out for the GF FX, but February came and went, and no card. Now March is almost gone, and still no card.
I decided it just wasn't worth the wait and went and got the 9700 pro. I haven't regretted it either.
sincerely,
sx/amiga
