Yes that is a stupid question because nobody know what you're talking about. Are you asking about PSX emulators? If so, then what emulator? Probably EPSXE. Well just push escape to exit fs and go to file and select change disk.

Talking about stupid things, do you know any other emu besides the PSX one who deals with disk change ? No ? That's what I thought... asking for the system he's speaking about is... idiotic.

Anyway, dp69_2001 most games always ask to save before the disk change, if you have troubles just save and the re-start the emu with the next disk... when you load the save you will start without problems...

Speaking of idiotic, are you aware that all emulators work on the same premise for changing disk--the option for it is usually availible somewhere in the file menu? Thus my reply although subjective does give him a valid answer. Whereas yours is blantant flame.

And for your information, most games don't ask for saving to switch disk ie MGS. :fingers:

Huuuummmm....

Maybe dp69_2001 was talking about switching disk in full-screen ePSXe when you have no access to the GUI, such as when you use a frontend such as Delta or ePSXecutor...

If that is the case, then I don't think there's anyway to do so :-(

Maybe in the next version someone will implement a shortcut for cd switching accessible in fullscreen such as: ALT-C or something...

Yes there is. Just do what grahf said. Press esc and click on file, change disc. Then put in the 2nd disc and once the disc's in the CD-ROM drive, hit esc again and everything should run fine.

Funny thing, most games I played asked to save before switching to a new disc, and remember i said *most* games. And second, if you read closely what others say, IE Kaiser Sigma, you would realize the Kaiser stated that if the games DOES NOT prompt you to save to mem card, to use SAVE STATE and then reload with a new disc. Of course he didn't use those words, but the concept is there.

Maybe this thread should be closed before someone takes it out of hand...

Your "valid answer" was just an insult to someone who asked a question... mine was a blantant flame ? Hey, at least I gave him an answer, you on the other hand...

Most games don't ask ? I dunno, hence that's why I said 'MOST'... is that hard to read the entire post ?
Oh and BTW all Square games ask you to save before changing disks...

Anyway, I just hope that dp69_2001 could get something useful out of this...

i cant use save state to load another disk because savestates are made for certain games i
cant make a savestate for spyro and then use it on spyro2 just like i cant use save state of heart of darkness disk 1 for heart of darkness disk 2... and for some reason "change disk" changes nothing for HOD so does anyone know any other
methods.
