MGS2 and MGS2: Substance.

Is their any Major Differance between MGS2 And MGS2 Substance? I went through the game on PS2 and thought it was absolutly awsome. rather i didnt understand a good deal of it cuz i didnt play the first metal gear. but i still liked it.

But before i buy MGS2:Substance, To get all the really New, Good stuff that came with substance, do you have to beat the Whole game again on X-box just to get those features..? I want to know if their really worth going through all that again..

This troubles me, your comment 'I want to know if their really worth going through all that again..' because if the game was good in the first place wouldn't you have no problem in going through the game a second time? Not a big concern for me anyway, as I will more then likely get the new version regardless. Mostly to compare it to Splinter Cell.

As far as I know you shouldn't have to play through it all over again to get the extra missions. They are infact just like the Metal Gear VR Missions. Nothing new to the story, just new VR missions.

I remember reading in these forums somewhere that the part where you had to play with rayden now its optional so you can use Solid Snake all the game.

No, you don't have to beat the SOL to play ANY of the extra content on Substance (Snake Tails, VR Missions, ect.) Also, NO you CANNOT play as Snake all the way through SOL.

I can relate to that. I earned a save with all the dog tags from all the difficuty settings in both chapters, but I was only borrowing the PS2 and memory card. I'll probably collect all the dog tags on the PC version if it has good controls and keeps a solid frame rate.
