Poy Poy

I recently bought a used "poy poy" cd, and i cannot get it to work under epsxe. I was wondering if it might be due to an error on the disc, or if epsxe cant do poy poy... for those of you who know the game, when i try to join on of the poy poy cups the game displays a "now loading" text, and the announcer does his intro and then says now lets start the game or whatever but it never starts... the exhibition game works ok though... i dont have a real playstation to test the cd on...

If anyone here knows anything please let me know..
