Final Fantasy Tactics On EPSXE 1.40

I cant seem to get FFTactics to work. It will get to the menu but i cant select anything.none of the buttons work. can anyone help. here are my specs.

1.2GHZ T-Bird (AXIA)
128megs DDR
GeForce2 GTS 32 megs
WindowsXP RC-1-= The problem has occured in WinME Also
epsXe 1.40

FFT does not need F4 to be activated at all. if you have enabled the sio irq, then disable it. at the risk of sounding slightly offensive with no bad intentions, have you configured the keypad?

i know that the keypad reminder is particularly embarrassing but has had the situation happened to me b4 when i first installed adripsx and negliated to set the keypad.

i am actually playing FFT with ePSXe 1.40 right this moment and i assure you it runs almost perfectly. even the missing background in the world map has been drawn thanks to the efforts of the coders of ePSXe and pete, my favorite plugin guy.
