Unhappy Error recieved when trying to configure epsxe 1.4.0

Some reason, when I click on either anything under plugins to try to configure epsxe, I get this pop up error:

C:\EPSXE\EPSXE.EXE

Thunk Connecting failed. (32 -> 16)

At first, I was thinking it had to do something with the video plugin, but I get this error even when I click on cdrom, bios, sound, etc....anything under the config options, I get this error.

My system specs are below in signature.

get tsg mscdex cd rom driver 1.2 from the pluggins page and rezipp it to the epsxe pluggins directory.... There should be 3 files unzipped with this cd rom pluggin.... ONe file should say subTsgMSCD16.dll, another should say subTsgMSCD32.dll.... Make sure that these three files are in the pluggin directory of epsxe.....

It's not detecting them, it detects pete's and the default cdrom plugins, but won't detect those.
