Star Ocean 2 problems :[

Ok I'v got a big problem with Star Ocean 2 : TSS

I'v compleated SS2 CD 1 with no problems, here comes disc 2. But !
I'v got PAL version of CD 1 and NTSC version of CD 2 so the saves ( on memory card ) do not work :/

Things I tried :

- converting CD 2 from NTSC to PAL ( using Pal4U ) , saves stil dont work,
- converting from NTSC to PAL ( same method ) and inserting the CD ( well ISO actualy ) when prompted to at the end of CD 1, all goes well, see problem #1
- NOT converting and switching to disc 2, all goes well , see problem #1

Problem #1

- when trying to enter the menu ( by the tringlar button , or by some action ( you talk with a guy, then he opens your menu ) , emulation stops with error :
Opcode 3f UNK (PC 00138808) (135366,28)

- when trying to go to the world map the screen goes black and music is still on :/

Using Petes OpenGL 1.68 :

- Keep psx aspect ratio: off

Textures:
- R5G5B5A1
- Filtering: 0
- Hi-Res textures: off
- Palettized tex windows: on
- Garbage collection: on
- VRam size: 32 MBytes

Framerate:
- FPS limitation: on
- Frame skipping: off
- FPS limit: Auto

Compatibility:
- Offscreen drawing: 4
- Framebuffer texture: 0
- Framebuffer access: 0
- Alpha multipass: off
- Mask bit: off
- Advanced blending: off

Misc:
- Scanlines: off
- Line mode: off
- Unfiltered FB: off
- Dithering: off
- Screen smoothing: off
- Screen cushion: off
- Game fixes: off [00000000]

And P.E.Op.S v 1.11 :

Plugin: P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.1.11
Author: Pete Bernert and the P.E.Op.S. team

Resolution/Color:
- 800x600 Window mode

Framerate:
- FPS limit: on
- Frame skipping: on
- FPS limit: Auto

Misc:
- Scanlines: disabled
- Game fixes: off [00000000]

My question(s) :

- is there a way to fix this ?
- is there a way to convert savegames ( memorycard ) from PAL to NTSC,
- if so then how
- if so, then would some one mind getting my memorycard ( http://toya.net.pl/~emugen/epsxe000.zip ), load it ( there are 2 saves, one at the end of disc 1 ), go out to the world map, save the game and post it here ?
- if no, could someone send me hes save , at the end of disc 1 NTS format, please

Desperate :/

Something is getting me here. There is simply no reason why you would have the NTSC disc of one and PAL of the otherunless you pirated it.

The saves aren't compatible between the two games... No getting around that. A pity, Star Ocean d2 is REALLY, REALLY fun.

d00d - I CAN SEE that the saves arn't compatible, I'm asking if there is a tool to conver them ( eg. one can convert Xenogears saves from NTSC to PAL and the other way around with PSX Game Edit ), OR if someone can send me hes save at the end of DISC 1 NTSC version.

>one can convert Xenogears saves from NTSC to PAL

Xenogears was never released in PAL.
Only a certain very few games get such support. Notably the FFs
