I've heard nothing but bad things about DMC2, but the first one rocked on toast.

Yeah, I have heard a lot of negative things about it as well: Danté's lack of one-liners, lack of combos, lack of cool weapons, crappy boss fights, where the hell is Trish and Sparda?, etc... It does have another playable character, which is cool, but.. man... Good thing I bought the first one instead of waiting around for this one.

Boy, does this game seem like a big dissapointment. I was planning on buying it...now it seems i'll be renting it instead. It really is a shame*sigh*...the first game was so amazing...

Looks like Xenosaga will be my game purchase for the month(I wonder if I could beat it before April...)

U'll get used to Kane's way with words after a while, N1ghtw0lf they're rather creative IMO

And yes, although I only played the beggining of the game, the first was a great action game where "style" met "game play" and they fell in love I'm quite shocked at how people say the second one got such a sad use of the name.

The second one sucked more than a baby on speed by many accounts.

Hrm... I still haven't played either dmc games. My brother bought the first one and really seems to have liked it, I've just never felt any desire to play it. Don't ask me to explain, I don't quite understand either, though I suspect voodoo is involved.

Well a baby sucks more than a final demand for 3 grand anyway. On speed, it'd be moving faster than a copy of Hello in a nunnery, so....

I'm feeling like putting a little more effort than a lethargic sloth on valium into my posts.
