crash bash
OK, here goes... I just got Crash Bash, and I'm trying to get it to work... it starts... goes to the first screen, plays the first sound, then hangs... it doesn't lock, but... doesn't go any further. Here's my configuration... AMD Duron 1.0 GHZ w/ 352 MB RAM.. Voodoo3 3000, SB Live! and HP CD-RW epsxe v. 1.5.2 video- Lewpey's 3dfx/glide snd- eternal's sound CD-ROM - Mooby's image I tried the CD, then made an iso image... still won't work.. |

AFAIK the game has protection of some kind.. first try: have you subchannel reading enabled ?

Like majkl said, enable the "Red subchannel" feature to bypass the protection. However, there are some cdrom drives that cannot read subchannels. In this case, you'll need a ppf patch. Get the .ppf file and load it by either selecting it in the cdr plugin configuration, or by renaming the file and putting it in the "patches" folder.
