NES - Skull & Crossbones.

Anybody have this rom? If so, could you post some shots? I remember playing this game on NES but I cant quite remember the game's name. I think it was pirates. Ive searched the net for screenies, but found some other game screenshots.

not asking for t3h rom

EDIT: See my next post, I found the game I was looking for, but no screenies still.

If the game you are thinking of is not this then start a new thread describing it so it can be identified.

Yeah, I know. There is also an old PC version, and it was a little bit better, but it has some rather severe problems running on my PC. I think I might have the ROM somewhere around, but I don't know where...

...now there's a real fine game - definately one of Sid Meier's finest. Have you played it, Esturk ? ...I've spent an entire summer playing it, when it came out

No. I haven't played it. But I do have an Amiga 2000 so I was thinking of giving it a try someday. Eric's been busy with work and school so I haven't been able to get together with him for some time. He always said it was an awesome game.

Do any of the emulators have mapper 64 support yet? When that happens you'll be sure to see places with screenshots.

Here is something about the PC game with one screenshot.

There is an arcade game with a similar name which I think is the same game as the one you are interested in.
S&C
S&C(set2)
Since they have screenshots then I wonder if it is emulated by MAME.

Reichfuher, you might just want to check out FCE Ultra. I don't think it lists which mappers it supports, but it runs most of my NES R*** perfectly. It might run Pirates. Couldn't hurt to try.
sincerely,

I tried it last night and it didn't work with fceultra.

Mapper 64 support will come eventually.

What do you mean it is pure nes? This game has an arcade version and pc version.

Click on the pc game link. Underdogs has a box cover that looks exactly like the sticker on that Nes cart. They may not be 1 to 1 ports of the game you are familiar with but they are still ports.
