He did this as he told me to unlock the pixle shader in the GF2MX and to show off until he geta a real GFX card

ROFL. What a dumbass AOL newb.

You can't unlock pixel shaders as they aren't present. They already support vertex shaders though.

Ahem.the GF2MX is a locked version of the quadro(Pixle shaders and all),You can unlock it by moving the resistors or using a modified BIOS,The pixle shaders don't look as good as the one on an actual GF4Ti

Um, nope. All those features are completely stripped from the card. You may be able to get it recognize as a Quadro with that method, but it does not change what the hardware supports.

He said he saw water effects in 3dMark(Blurry but existent)
And besides I said Ti not Quadro

It's complete bollox.
The only mod you can do it retail to Quadro, and that doesn't add any features like that.

I agree with Kane and cooliscool. I do not see how it's possible to have hardware pixel shaders support on a GF2/4 MX as it's not physically present on the die. It's most likely a software emulation enabled through the drivers.

You can also use Riva Tuner and its quadro patch to get your card recognized as Quadro, but as has been said, it will not make much different.

I don't know is he telling the thruth,I myself havn't seen this in action so I can agree with you.I doubt he can activate it on an old GF2MX,but as always we'll have to wait and see
