a few days ago...i started having this prob i'm using sony crx140e 8x4x32 cdrw drive and sony cd maker 2000 professional to burn my cds with the prog...whenever it has finished burning,it will run a file checker to compare the files that has been burned my problem is...if i'm burning files and the fc sez the files are not the same and not burned...i won't be able to read any files in the cd(doesn't applies to all files,mp3s works fine even if the error occured) but when i try to read the cds in my friends comp ,they works fine.what's worst is ,cds burned with cdrwin are not recognized at all right now i'm using win2k sp2 and i think the prob had also appeared when i'm using win98se but i don't remember what i did to make it go away please help ,thankx |

i just remember one thing this problem only occures when i burn using dao and Rargh...some of the cds are readable by both my cdrw drive and dvd drive before so i think it is software prob, not hardware well...just deactivated the file checker function, gonna check wether it's gone or not |

Rargh, you seem to know more about this than me. Could it be the ASPI layer?

Yeah I think so Adair. I had the same problem w/ it. I just installed an ASPI layer for win2k here: http://www.winchan.net/aspi/ Do as it is said, and it should be allright. (BTW, nice avatar adair )Bye |

>Do you have to have a certain keyboard? Nope, you just need to know how to input ASCII codes. To get é you need to hold down your alt key (either is fine) then, on your keypad (with Num Lock active), press zero, two, three, three, then release alt. When I was taking French in high school I kept a small list taped to my monitor so I wouldn't have to be bothered with remembering the key sequences. Here's a list of the most common accents, if anyone's interested: Code:
È 0200 É 0201 Ê 0202 è 0232 é 0233 ê 0234 À 0192 Á 0193 Â 0194 à 0224 á 0226 â 0227 Ò 0210 Ó 0211 Ô 0212 ò 0242 ó 0243 ô 0244 Ç 0199 ç 0231
