Lord of the rings a good book made into a good movie

Well all good books can be made into good movies how about dracula by Bram Stoker. Now theres a good story and I have read the whole 502 pages. The movies are nothing compared to the book instead of finishing a game try buying and finishing the book! They ought to make it a movie like lord of the rings

Go read 'the bourne identity' and then go watch the movie. You will have lost a few points off your IQ.

For the most part, book->movie conversions aren't great. Because you can have a book basically as long as you want, and be loaded with colorful expression and tons of description. With a movie, you're limited to about 2 hours, after that alot of movies feel too long, and they'll lose the interest of alot of viewers. Also, until recently, there were alot of things they couldn't do visually in movies that would really capture the imagination... CG is now making alot of that stuff possible. While saying it's not all about the presentation is well and good, having good CG can really capture the imagination and bring to life fantasy worlds the way the author truely envisioned it.

The only thing they would need for a good Dracula movie is newzealand an ancient castle and a really tall slim guy with bony fingers

I'm not an Anne Rice fan, and I know it's technically not a "Dracula" film, but I thought Interview With a Vampire was a really cool movie.

i think converting a book into a movie is usually a bad idea, except for lotr. i usually read the books (if they're not too boring) instead of watching the movie, just let my imagination run wild. it takes me back to being a child. good ol' memories...

Basicaly, normaly when a film is made of a book, it's made to be a box office success rather than being tre to the book.
Bram Stoker's Dracula was IMO, a good film. I haven't read the book myself tho.
Lord of the Rings had to be done very carefully as it's such a famous book.

Bram Stokers Dracula, starring Gary Oldman doesn't exist then?

Hey The original book none have a good base on the ORIGINAL book which is one hell of a heart stopping thriller I should say though I guess the format isnt convinient for a movie as it uses the point of view method.

I reckon dracula was more famous and more scary and solid
