Ridiculous Piracy

Today I went to my friend's shop for cd roms (I usually rent and purchase cds from there only). There I found a new pc cd rom game called "NBA JAM Advance 2002". AS I am a sports game fanatic I rented the game to try it out. When I came back to my home and inserted the disk..... Surprise.. Surpise . Thats no pc game. Thats GBA rom with Visual Boy Advance included on the disk. Now thats ridiculous..... After seeing many games like tekken 3 bundled with cvgs now its turn for VBA as well ? Thats what I call real piracy. The problem is that the cd looks like an original game cd for pc.(If it can fool me it can definitely fool any newbie).

I'm for piracy as long as no end parties doesn't make any money out of it.... but if people make money out of piracy.... that is just wrong.

Prafull, your story sickens me. If I were you, I would find the people that did it and string them up by the balls.

What I meant was the people who they ordered the CDs from. They had to have come from somewhere. I would find out who distributed them, and then blow the whistle on them. There's just no excuse for that crap.

The biggest problem with people here is they cant differentiate between whats pirated and whats original.
The fact is I will have to tell the shop owner every detail about VBA and what it does and how that cd isnt legitimate and even then he may not agree with me.

I haven't seen any pirated game CD so far that looks almost exactly like the originals... might be true for some anime audio CDs like SonMay, but not pirated PC media. They all look shabbily made, as the piracy people can't be half-assed to imporve what they look like. Seems like quantity over quality is the rule, not the exception.

I experienced this too. I bought "Garow - Mark of the Wolves". In the box was saying: "Finally the best fighting game ever in your pc". And it was really expensive. But it was just the rom file and the Neo Geo emulator (Neoragex).

Christ, we can't even buy a blank CDR that cheap over here.

But my point isn't the price. What I have a problem with is that they are selling what is clearly not their property, and they should be smacked hard.
