I am having trouble running Smackdown! 2. I've tried just about every plug-in and it is either too slow on the menu screens or running the entrances. Also, the matches are VERY slow! I've also tried ripping it to an ISO, but it does not get any faster. Here are my sys specs: Plugin: Pete's D3D Driver 1.1.67 Author: Pete Bernert GFX card: Trident Blade3D/MVP4 (CPQ) Resolution/Color: - 320x240 Window mode Textures: - Default - Filtering: 0 - Hi-Res textures: off - Palettized tex windows: off - Garbage collection: on - VRam size: 0 MBytes Framerate: - FPS limit: on - Frame skipping: off - FPS limit: Auto Compatibility: - Offscreen drawing: 1 - Framebuffer texture: 1 - Framebuffer access: 0 - Alpha multipass: on - Mask bit: off - Advanced blending: none Misc: - Scanlines: off [0] - Unfiltered FB: on - Dithering: off - Screen smoothing: off - Full vram: off - Game fixes: on [00000080] Any help will be had, thanks! I am using the Pete's plug-ins (D3D and Soft). Soft makes the entrances fast and the menus slow. Vice versa for the other one. The settings are all set to the 'Fast' defaults, the only exception being that it is set to the lowest resolution possible (350x280, I think.).

Pete's D3D (DX7) Configuration Window mode - 320x240 Texture Design - Driver default Texture Filtering - None Gfx card vram size - Autodetect Autodetect frame-skip rate Off-screen drawing - Minimum Advanced blending - None Framebuffer textures - Black Framebuffer access - Emulated vram Unfiltered framebuffer access and special game fixes the only things checked. I think that's it, hopefully it'll give u a clue to what's goin on. |

Yes I do, but his help didn't help me at all. I don't own the computer that I use and I can't exactly update my PARENTS computer that easily. Maybe someone else'll have a good idea.

Try E}I{'s soft for k6/p1MMX. I have that same onboard graphics which i replaced with a gf4 mx. When i used it, E}I{'s was blazing fast, so is peops. What speed K6/K6-2 do you have?

64 Mb. What do u mean E}I{'s? Is it a new plug-in? I don't think I have that one. Same with peops. All I know is the RAM, I don't know about MHz. I don't know where to find it. |

Trident Cyber Blade blows donkey nuts. I've got one stuck to my mobo in this compaq, disabled it in the bios. Gets me 10 FPS in Quake 3, never bothered trying epsxe, its got garbage image quality to boot.
