The XP built in one works fine if you don't need anything fancy.

My brother swears by Wingate, but I'm dubious of it.

Wingate works fine, but it was kinda annoying to set up last time I tried. WinRoute is a lot easier, in particular the lite version.

XP internet sharing is stupidly easy to setup; but if you want something more dedicated and with more features check out www.freesco.org - I've got a Pentium 75 with just a floppy drive and 2 network cards driving my 600k internet
