anyone here played toca race driver on ps2?

this game is getting its ass kicked in this review like I've never seen before. Anyone here who played the game and can comment on this?

Never heard of such a game before, but from the screenshots, it doesn't look too bad..
That review wass pretty harsh..

Samor you better try Colin Mcrally3 (sp?). A much better rally game IMO. BTW there s new also on GT4 for PS2. It is supposed to have car damage and special weather fx.

the funny thing is both Toca and Colinmcrea Rally are done by the Codemasters; based on their past titles, you'd expect some quality from them. (Toca 2 and Toca World Touring Cars on the psx were simply awesome)

I donno, I saw Cloin Mcrally on a shelve here and IGN sez that it isn't out yet. Strange. Got any info?

It is a nice game, but the pc version is better, and NFS HP2 for PS2 is much cooler and better.

Wel NFS and Colin are totally different games. NFS is more of an arcade street racer and Colin is a rally game.

However, I too believe that NFS is more fun game. But sometimes a little simulation game won't hurt ya
