As for Europe, I am not aware of anyone who knows what goes on in Europe. (I'm sorry. I'll stop bashing Europe now)

Japan is pretty well documented though, and it shows GameCube outselling Xbox by about 4:1.

besides, that article was about the UK
and, for the record. the UK has more good game developers than the US

A lot more if I'm not mistaken... some great games for the PC came out from EU...

Blizzard is a UK company, IIRC, as was Rare, Lionhead, Bullfrog... need I continue.
The Eu is neglected on the console front but some of the best PC games come out of Europe, specificaly the UK and France.

codemasters, microprose, digital illusions, core design, psychnosis, magnetic fields, just to name a few; given, some of those names are no more (sadly) but they often continued under different brand names.

/me has a quick browse through his games collection.
At least 70% of my good PC games come from Europe.
Of the PSX games, 90% are from Japan

If any moderator wants to tell me who voted for Xbox, I can assure you complete secrecy. I never go back on a promise, and it would be just like you hadn't told me. My curiousity is just too intense.

Samor, I am sorry for bashing Europe. That article just irritated me a little. I know that Blizzard and Rare make up for a lot of Europe's failings in the past.

PS2 for its big variation of games.
I can't see how GCN could possibly win this poll
Same goes to Xbox even though i like that machine better than an GCN cause it doesn't have any kiddy games

Blizzard Entertainment is actually located here in the USA, sumwhere in california i believe (at least the west coast). The owners of Blizzard is the French company Vivendi (who, I might add, are in serious financial trouble).

Wolfmaster, in the first post I expressly said not to spam this thread with worthless drivel. If you prefer the PS2, that's fine. Just vote for PS2 and leave if you have nothing useful to say.

Anyway, I just found something that is going to hit the PS2 pretty hard. hehe. This is a quote from the latest press release from Acclaim, that basically states that they are looking for Ms. BMX XXX. (Funny as hell IMO)

Quote:
The version for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system has been edited to eliminate the topless nudity, while versions for Xbox™ and Nintendo GameCube™ will contain topless nudity.

Do you really think that people buy games just to see "topless nudity"???

When they buy that one, I can't see any other reason why you would want it. Seriously, that's all the game has to offer. It's like offering censored strip poker.
