Question Gamepad compatibility list?

Is there a list of what games work with gamepads? I've had about a 40% success rate so far... Harvest Moon and Legend of mana worked fine. But for some reason I couldn't use my controller in DW 1&2 or Tactics ogre. Is this normal? I'm using a PSX2USB converter...

Oops, almost forgot... Just using the ePSXe controller options, not using any plug-ins.

Another thing you can do in addition to pressing F5 is to change your controller to strictly digital in the GamePad menu of ePSXe.

use digital only on the gamepad config. some games sometimes doesn't like the analog when its on. I had that problem when i was trying to play epsxe on my friends pc, and he had a hacked version of ff9, and i was using my kiki joy. the hacked version did not like the analog whatsoever, until the hack intro is over... then, everything is fine again.

my fix... put the gamepad setting to digital only.

Guess It's a problem I caused myself then. I just really like the analog controls, but the games it wouldn't work in (if I remember right) didn't have analog support even on the console.

It's kinda weird though... When the analog controlers first showed up I looked at them as if they were violating some law of nature... Now I've put my snes in storage because I prefer using zsnes since I can use my psx controller...

i hate using the analog. i try to stay away from it as much as i could. i hated the n64 games, cuz most of them required the use of analog, i prefer the dpad. when playing games like zelda, mario, and super smash brothers (through the help of emulation)

I found that the analog stick on the N64 and PSX just annoying in the most part, but hten I started to use it in games like Vagrant Story and FF8+. On the PS2, I used it without even noticing it. I was playing Gran Tourismo 3, and Clayton said to me 'How can you use the analog stick' I said 'I didn't even realise I was'.

The only game that I don't use the analog stick on is Capcom Vs SNK 2

I've a tendency to switch between the two. eg in rpg's I use the analogue to move about but I use the d-pad for selecting commands in the battle menus.
