Never played them, but I do have Macross VFX-2, and it looks divine on Pete's OGL.

To my understanding, I think Macross DYRL for Saturn and/or PSX is basically the Macross PC Engine shooter with steroid gfx, sound and more gameplay. I just need to know which is better. VFX is not bad, kinda pain in the butt to control.
