"Sony announced today the North American release of Wild Arms 3, the first entry in the series to grace the PlayStation 2. The game should make it to stores by Friday, where it is expected to retail for $39.99 US.

Characterized by a unique western flavor, the game follows the adventures of four drifters as they search the barren land of Filgaia in an effort to find out what caused the devastation of the once-vibrant land. Players will need to solve puzzles, using both their own wits and the special abilities of the characters.

The ESRB has rated Wild Arms 3 "E" for everyone"

Hmmmm, Wild Arms 3, Kingdom Hearts, and Gauntlet Dark Legacy. A PS2 looms ever larger in my future. How much longer can I resist, only time will tell.

I had Wild Arms 3 in my hands today, sadly I didn't buy it -- Wild Arms 2 disappointed me.
