This film has been such in development hell since the very first game (I recall rumors that arnie was going to be Doomguy). Anyways it will be interesting to see if this actually comes into existance (given game->film transitions of the past)

If they make one, they should get Sam Raimi to direct it, I think he's be a good dricector for the movie. The Evil Dead movies had lots of gore, and his directing made it extra creepy.
