Donīt u have the psx version? Cause its the same. The pc version is very buggy. BTW, the demo version sux. Its just some battles in the battle arena.

But if u really want, go to EIDOS site. Maybe they have the demo there. (The pc version is from eidos.)

I don't think I ever saw the demo... anyway, the FFVII PC version as well said above was kinda buggy... yet there are lot of patches to fix it if you decide to get it...

FF7 is only "buggy" when used in Windows NT. On a Windows 9x machine with a 3dfx card it'll run perfectly. It'll also run well on an Nvidia card (with the Riva 128/TNT patch), although there are some problems with FSAA on GF3 cards.

I remember trying the demo a few years back but I don't know if it's available anymore. As psicomaniaco said, you just fight some monsters in the battle arena, nothing that amazing.

I have 2 different versions of the demo. (Unfortunately, 1 of them only runs with a voodoo card though) I got them both from magazine CDs though.

FF7 PC is pretty good though if you ask me. It's got some nice graphics, and runs fine on Win9x. There's also a patch to make it work on XP, although I haven't tried it yet. (I haven't played the game in years)

I was feeling nice, so I checked into it for you. It took me about 3 minutes to find a working link.

enjoy. Be warned that I don't know which version this is though. I don't know if it will work with a non-voodoo card or not.

No problem matty. Glad I could help, and it didn't take all day.

Omega, that's really strange. I never ever got any kind of messages like that.

Omega, I got the same problem. After the train intro FF7 simply just exited itself and a windows saying: " Blah blah blah has cause an unknown error on blah blah blah."
And I was forced to buy the PSX version. So, although I don't need the PC version again, but I am curious to know what actually happen.
Is that a problem with GF2 MX100/200 64MB or a problem with Pentium4 1.5Ghz? Or a problem with WinME?

There're some graphic erros with nvidia cards even with the patch. I still recommend the PSX version, better graphics and Midis.
