Arc the Lad III
i'm at the end of the first disc, and when it tells me i need to put in the second one i do that, but it doesn't load. any idea why? I've tried it both with ISOs and CDs, the game never seems to load the second disc.

i tried taking a save state of the change disc screen on the first disc. i then renamed the file name so it fit the ID# of the 2nd CD and loaded the save state... although this didn't work i found out somthing intersting, it doesn't solve the problem but its a neat glitch: if you take a save state durring the ending movie of the 1st disc, and load it in the save state as the 2nd CDs ID#, it will play the ending of the game. however, its incomplete because disc 2's ending movie is longer. i dunno figured that was interesting. I also saved my state near a save point in disc 1, i renamed the file and loaded it on disc 2, i made an actual game save ON disc 2 from a save state on disc 1. this didn't change the way disc 2 loaded it though. it still didn't work. with all of things things in consideration its very odd how it does't work. |

Do we have to give up ? I still keep the savefile hoping that with a new emulator version, this one will be opened. My file is ,I think, the best. (You know ruthless hunter with all jobs done perfectly and all the wanted criminals are destroyed after being stolen till that time ,dozens of cards in over half of monsters.) I pray for the soon coming of the problem ,I will get crazy if things go like that. Shhh...

i was able to bypas this problem, when i first got to the end of the disk i had this problem too. but i saved my game at the last area (real save, not a save state) used my dex drive to put it on a real memory card, and used my psx to play it till i could save it again on the second cd... it worked for me

that sucks. they should implement one just in case something happens while you're switching cds.

you know that reminds me of a time i was playing tales of destiny 2 on my psx, i am not the kind of person that remembers to save the game often, so when i got to cd 2, i opend it, took the cd out, put disk 2 in, closed it, and for some unknown reason i absentmindedly pushed the reset button *sigh* 6 hours of redo =)

Yeah ,I have the save file as you said ,but I don't know the process ,Can you explain more on how to change it into a real memory card. I possess lot of mem cards and a psx ,so no need to worry.

What a pity! I don't own any dex drive ,Can anyone do me a favor? I'll post my save file and you just pass to the disc 2 for me .Save from the beginning. Anyway, I think many should wait for the next version of epsxe emulator, hoping that this problem will be solved. Do you think they can do this? Ohhh...I'm sick being like this .I can't wait any longer to play this game. |

no way we can have the file save at the beginning of disc II ,I'm afraid. The only thing we can do now is to seat down ,play the other games instead and wait for the project to launch new version of this epsxe emulator.
