It started ages ago, before I even joined IIRC, and it was just people chatting about everything from religion to what they had for tea.
It got so long as it never really had a topic to constrain it in the first place.
Who started it? I can't remeber. I don't think that user is around any more tho

It was longer than that. It was the longest thread here by over 2 times. 3011 replies as opposed to the desktop threads 1400. Just checked, Sang|ine was the first poster.
I'd love to ressurect it, but...
