Most of the N64 games were fairly unremarkable, but there are a few real gems to be found there. I would buy it if I were you. I am not sure how much 50 euro is worth, but I'm sure that it's worth a N64 and 50 games.

the game for n64 must be starfox 64, i never really liked mario since he went to 3d, something is just not right w/ it in my opinion. but the zelda 64 is breath taking in my opinion. majoras mask is just not worth the zelda name in my opinion. the time thing is stupid. mario rpg 2 is pretty good.

I liked Majora's Mask. It wasn't the best of the Zelda games, but it most certainly was not the worst.

Starfox 64 was simply the greatest. I played that game to death from the minute I got it.

Zelda 64 was also a very pleasing experience. It is my favorite Zelda, and will always be remembered as the single greatest game I ever played on N64

Conker's Bad Fur Day is a close second. The game is extremely fun to play, and the humor is top notch. The voice acting is superb, and the graphics are very good. The ending is very deep, even if it is short.

Perfect Dark has occupied over 2 days of my life in the combat simulator alone.

I always wondered how they put all that stuff in an N64 cartadige. The speech, the graphics, the textures....How big r they? and how big r the GBA ones?? (the GBA ones use flash memory, correct?)

the speech is super compresed so that it can fit on the 100mb cartridge, and the rest are just basically midis that looped over and over.

and the size is practically unknown due to the fact that no1 has ever extracted n64 files from roms.

cartridges compress very well, in addition to the compressed sounds and stuff. The more recent N64 games used Factor 5's Musyx tools, which allowed developers to make really good audio in their games. Some of the audio were actually MP3 samples, and some was still the classic MIDI, but with improvements.

Most N64 games are 3D. The reason being that 3D models take up virtually no space, and most of the space goes to textures. (Which is why N64 featured such lackluster textures).

The biggest N64 cartridge ever was Resident Evil 2, at 512Mb. That equates to 64MB. How did they ever do it? Magic.

512Mb that was compressed to 64Mb or somethings else? If they did compress 512 Mb to 64 Mb, then it REALLY is amazing.

Syed, have you ever seen the 5 minute 3D demo in 64k? If you haven't, you should really check it out. I found it quite amazing. (EDIT: I would have thrown in a copy, but I can't find it at the moment. Maybe I'll find it later. If I do, I will throw in a copy.

Anyway, just to clear things up, that's 512 Mb. (Megabits). Each byte is 8 bits, so 512Mb equals 64 MB (Megabytes). I should have probably made that clear before.

I FOUND IT!!! Here it is. A 3D demo in 64k. System requirements aren't that high, and obviously it doesn't take much to download.

I am just posting this to show what you can achieve when you are determined enough.

Wait a min; what is it? I saw a bar being filled slowly and then it dissappeared. What's the point?

Really? That's kind of weird. Try it again, because it takes a few minutes to decompress itself.

Well, at least it's working for some people.

I really don't know what all the numbers were about, but its still a pretty cool demo.

What numbers? The ones that appear on the objects? Well, they should've hidden them or maybe just showing off. I think they r the names of the objects in the world. Like in 3D Studio Max, lights and windows and other different objects would be given names. An example would be...Light001, light002 and so on. Same thing goes to the textures

Mario Sunshine
Eternal Darkness
Resident Evil
Metroid
Zelda
