FF 8 Very slow
hello i've a proble when i play FF8 it's very slow when a fight startet i must wait a half min. and sometimes it stoped and i must restart epsxe give is a better emu for this game ?

You know.... Battle transitions work perfectly on a real Playstation. But as Quatro said, post your computer specs and plugins.

also I've : Win 98 Pentium 3 / 640 Mhz 128, 00 MB Ram NVIDA RIVA TNT2 /TNT2 PRO I hope thats all you need to help me but i have anoter problem too in the fight i can't see the fighting menue |

For final fantasy 8 on a TNT card use pete's D3D and the following settings.(Note: pete's openGL gives slow transitions on TNT-class cards) Plugin: Pete's D3D Driver 1.1.64 Author: Pete Bernert Resolution/Color: - 640x480 Fullscreen - [32 Bit] Textures: - R8G8A8A8 - Filtering: 6 (Extended + Smooth sprites) - Hi-Res textures: off - Palettized tex windows: off - Garbage collection: on - VRam size: 32 Mbytes Framerate: - FPS limit: on - Frame skipping: off - FPS limit: Auto Compatibility: - Offscreen drawing: 3 (Enhansed shows mroe) - Framebuffer texture: 3 (gfxcard+software) - Framebuffer access: 0 (emulated vram) - Alpha multipass: on - Mask bit: on - Advanced blending: hardware Misc: - Scanlines: off [0] - Unfiltered FB: off - Dithering: off - Screen smoothing: off - Full vram: off - Game fixes: off [00000000] hopefully this will solve the issues you are having

Try changing the Framebuffer Textures to 1: Black

I've a problem when i will make a save state epsxe says thats a failure and the game shut down whats wrong ?
